Day 0
In the evening, depart from Delhi around 10.00 pm, overnight journey with a halt for dinner. Amritsar is approximately 450 km (9 hours). We will reach Amritsar in the morning.
Day 1
- After smooth checking in to the hotel, relax for sometime and after having breakfast, we will visit the magnificent Golden Temple also known as Harmandir Sahib. Soak in the serenity of the temple. Listen to soulful melodies and bhajans. Relish the kada prasad. Sit near the sacred pond for sometime. One can enjoy the langar or head straight towards the community kitchen, where thousands are fed every day.
- After spending time at the Gurudwara and offering prayers, we will watch the Change of Guard ceremony at Wagah Border, followed by a quick bite at the famous Sarhad Restaurant.
- Return to the hotel by evening, dinner at hotel and night stay at hotel.
Day 2
- After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and we will leave to visit the famous historical place Jallianwala Bagh. We will also visit Durgiana Temple and offer prayers here.
- Durgiana Temple is one of the top Hindu shrines in Amritsar that offers a glimpse into the city's religious heritage. After this we will have dinner at a good resturant and then we will leave for Delhi.
- Overnight journey to Delhi. We will reach Delhi in the morning around 7.00 am.
