Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples & Chandrashila  provides a spectacular view of Himalayas, especially Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks.
Our Group leader meets you at the Haridwar railway station in the morning, and transfer to the hotel, after breakfast, take a dip in the holy river Ganga, then we will go to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, and some other famous temples in Rishikesh, nature walk beside the river Ganga, Ganga aarti in the evening and some leisure time for you. Back to the resort, for dinner.
After breakfast we will check out and leave for our journey to Chopta ( 255 km) On the way we will stop for a while at Devprayag to take a view of the confluence of (The Alaknanda & Bhagirathi rivers) and we will also see the confluence of the river ( Alaknanda & Mandakini) at Rudraprayag. In the evening we reach Chopta, where we will stay in Swiss tents. Enjoy a bonfire, followed by dinner, and relax in the lap of nature.
After taking an early breakfast, we will leave for our trek to Tungnath temple, (situated at a height of 12070 feet above sea level). Those who do not want to trek can take horses also. The trek is 4 km and is a moderate trek. On the way, you will find lush green meadows if it is summer time, or in winter it is covered with snow and one can witness a wide range of snow-capped Himalayas also.
Tungnath is among the Tritiya Kedar among the 5 Kedars. After taking the blessings of Lord Shiva and spending some time at the temple, we move towards Chandrashila, which is one km uphill from here. Click lots of selfies and photographs here, it is a beautiful place, you will witness excellent views of the Himalayas. Spending some time, trek back to Chopta, bonfire in the evening, followed by dinner.
After breakfast, we leave for Sari village ( 40 km) from Chopta. After reaching Sari village, we start our trek for Deoria Tal, which is 3 km uphill from here. It is an easy trek, which might take around 2 – 3 hours, taking selfies and photographs along the way of the beautiful trek.
The lake is known for its wide 300 degree panorama. Mountains like Chaukhamba, Kedar range, Nilkantha, Bandarpunch and kalang can be viewed from here. The lake is situated at an altitude of 2,438 meters, amidst a lush green inclined field surrounded by dense trees, it’s a beautiful place to visit, take lots of selfies and photographs. We will carry packed lunch today, which we will have at the lake. Trek back to Sari village and back to Chopta. Bonfire at night followed by dinner.
After breakfast, we will leave for Haridwar, to catch a train back to Delhi in the evening.
